Beginninger of RUBE

Post by aqeel-raza »

Hi,
First of all I want to know what is the shortcut for the Actions on the main area of RUBE.
Secondly how can I fix the position of the bodies may be by script or something like that.

Thanks

Do you mean the shortcut keys to access the items in the action menu? If you are using Windows or Linux, you can see the shortcut key underlined in the menu. For example the shortcut sequence A,B,C would do "Add"->"Add body"->"Add body with circle fixture":

If you are talking about the keys to move, rotate etc then you can use the context help (shown by pressing F9 to toggle the context help panel) to see what keys are available to use at the current time.

You can set the position of a body in script with the function setPos. Please read the help "Rubescript - intro" topic in the built-in help for a small example, and the "Rubescript reference" topics for a full list of functions.
